Dr. Adam Trapp

Raised in Carlstadt, NJ, Dr. Trapp was inspired by his grandfather, Dr. Albert Powers, a chiropractor who instilled in him the values of healthy living and regular care. This foundation led Dr. Trapp to pursue chiropractic as a career.

He earned degrees in Exercise Science and Health from Montclair State University, where he also played rugby, and went on to graduate with honors from Life University in Georgia. His passion for sports and optimal performance inspired him to complete the Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner (CCEP) program.

After working alongside his grandfather in New Jersey and later with professional athletes in Georgia, Dr. Trapp opened Advanced Family Wellness (AFW) in 2014. At AFW, he combines modern techniques—including nutrition, cold laser therapy, kinesiotaping, myofascial release, and core stabilization—with proven chiropractic methods like Diversified, Thompson Technique, and Clinical Biomechanics of Posture.

Looking ahead, Dr. Trapp plans to expand AFW into physical therapy and massage to further support whole-body wellness.
